Handmade Lampwork and Amethyst Bead Necklace, 28" L

A one-of-a-kind artisan necklace handmade with my own lampwork glass beads, genuine purple amethyst, and solid 925 sterling silver. This colorful 28-inch necklace is completely handcrafted, from creating the individual glass beads to forming and finishing the sterling silver wirework.

I make each lampwork glass bead individually by hand, creating an organic mix of purple, turquoise blue, amber, golden yellow, and soft earthy tones.  The beads are created in the flame of a lampwork torch and kiln annealed for strength and durability.  Genuine amethyst gemstone beads are incorporated throughout the necklace, beautifully complementing the purple tones in the handmade glass.

The necklace is individually hand linked with solid 925 sterling silver wire. I oxidized the silver and then polished it by hand, leaving darker areas around the wirework that give the necklace subtle antiqued depth and highlight the handmade construction.

At approximately 28 inches long, this is an endless strand with no clasp. It slips easily over the head and falls into a beautiful long necklace length.
