Polymer Clay Workshop at Alvin Community College

Hope you can join us for a fun afternoon of learning about creating textures in polymer clay! Paula is a talented artist and a thorough and patient teacher. Everyone will have the opportunity to complete a piece to take home.
Come spend the day exploring ways to use rubber stamps and texture sheets with polymer clay. A variety of techniques will be covered including the Sutton Slice and ghost imaging. Students will create a small collage of texture patterns that will be made into a pendant, brooch or magnet.
Basic experience with polymer clay is recommended but not required. Rubber stamps and texture sheets will be available for us to use in the class. Students with pasta machines, work surfaces and basic polymer clay tools are encouraged to bring them.
